Bath Institution opened in 1972 and shares it's property with Millhaven Institution.  Bath Institution is a medium security Federal penitentiary capable of accommodating upto 516 adult male inmates.

How does FedPhoneLine work?

  1. Create your FedPhoneLine account.

Do I need to be on an incarcerated person's visitor list?

Yes, visiting application form must be filled out.  If there are children visiting then a child waiver application must be filled out for the child as well.

How can I schedule a visit?

All visits must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. 

 Visitation Information

  • Length of visit: Arrive before 10:00AM.  They can be admitted again before 12:30PM and no later than 2:00PM.  On Thursdays visitors must arrive no later than 7:00PM.
  • Number of visits per week: 2
  • Number of visitors per visit: 4
  • Money drop-off: Visitors CANNOT bring cash to a visit only money orders or cheques.
