Joyceville Institution Minimum Security is a federal minimum-security correctional facility located near Kingston, Ontario. The minimum-security site originally operated as Pittsburgh Institution, which was built and opened in 1963, making it approximately 63 years old in 2026. Pittsburgh Institution was amalgamated with Joyceville Institution in 2014 and now forms the minimum-security unit of the Joyceville complex. The overall Joyceville Institution has a rated capacity of 752 inmates, including the minimum-security site and assessment and temporary detention units.
