Built in 1968 the Peace River Correctional Centre accommodates 263 adult male inmate who are either remanded or sentenced provincially. The Aboriginal program coordinator offers cultural awareness sessions and Aboriginal wellness courses. Northern Lakes College instructor visit the facility to lead classes in addiction, family violence, Aboriginal arts and education upgrading.

How can I schedule
a visit?
You can schedule a visit anytime before noon on Friday,
call for visiting hours.
Visitation Information:
Length of visit: 30-120 minutes
Number of visits per week: 2
Number of visitors per visit: 2 (not including infants)
