Built in 2001 the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility is Nova Scotia's largest Provincial Jail.  Central Nova Scotia Correctional houses 322 male and 48 female offenders of mainly sentenced and remanded men and women in a medium security Provincial jail setting. 


Do I need to be on an Incarcerated persons visitors list? 

Yes, the inmate must complete a visitor list form. You may include up to 10 people on your visitor list (immediate family and upto 2 friends)

 

How can I schedule a visit?

Incarcerated person will book the visit for you and they will be provided a visitation time. Arrive early for your visit.  Weekly visits are permitted according to the facility schedule. The superintendent or delegate decides how many visitors are allowed, based on space and your security status.

Length of visit:  60 minutes (varies)

Number of visits per week:  1

Number of visitors per visit: 4

Can I drop off money to my loved one when I visit?Money can be deposited for loved ones via automated teller machines at visit, MUST know Incarcerated persons ID number.
