Centre de détention de Québec also known as Établissement de détention de Québec or Prison d’Orsainville is a 761 bed institution built in 1910 which houses both remanded and sentenced men and women serving Provincial sentences.

Do I need to be on an Incarcerated person’s visitors list?
Yes. Only immediate family can visit (as well as husbands/wives and boyfriends/girlfriends) previously authorized by the facility director (or its representative).
How can I schedule a visit?
Book visits 24hrs in advance call the visitation department Monday to Friday, between 1:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:45PM. For the female facility, call between 7:30 and 9:00PM.
