Edmonton Remand Centre was built in April 2013 and is the largest remand facility in Canada with a maximum holding capacity of 1,952 remanded men and women. There are a multitude of programs available within Edmonton Remand Centre including academic, life skills, parenting skills and addictions counselling. Visiting is accomplished through video conferencing at the Edmonton Remand Visitation Center on 10403-172 Street NW. Before visiting an inmate for the first time you must call 705-695-5454 to register.

Yes, incarcerated person must first put you on their visiting list.
How can I schedule
a visit?
All visits must be booked in advance, arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Length of visit: 25 minutes
Number of visits per week: 2
Number of visitors per visit: Upto 2 adults and 1 child under 18
Can I drop off money to my loved one when I visit?Cash can be deposited at the Automated Teller in the Visitation area for Canteen, must know Offender ID Number
