The Établissement de détention de Sorel was recently updated in 2017 and expanded it's capacity from 88 adult male offenders to 300, in a maximum security Provincial setting.  


Do I need to be on an Incarcerated person’s visitors list?

Yes.

 

How can I schedule a visit?

No. You just have to come during the visiting hours.

 

Visitation Information:

 

Length of visit: 60 minutes.

Number of visits per week: If the sector where the incarcerated person is as more than one visiting hour a week, you can go to both.

Number of visitors per visit: 2 adults.

Can I leave cash or money orders at the visitor desk? Yes. You can leave money orders every day, between 8:30-11:00AM, 1:00-4:00PM and 6:00-7:00PM.
