Kent Institution is the only maximum security institution in British Columbia.  Built in 1979 Kent Institution houses 378 adult male inmates serving Federal sentences.  

Do I need to be on an Incarcerated persons visitors list to visit Kent Institution? 

Yes, a visiting application form must be filled out.  If there are children visiting Kent Institution, then a child waiver application must be filled out for the child as well.

How can I schedule a visit to Kent Institution?

Visits to Kent Institution can be scheduled by inmate or you can call in and schedule a visit.

Number of visitors per visit: 2 (not including infants)
