La Macaza Instiution is a Medium security Federal penitentiary which opened in 1977 (it was previously a military base).  The Institution can house upto 240 adult male offenders.

Do I need to be on an Incarcerated person’s visitors list?

Yes, visiting application form must be filled out.  If there are children visiting then a child waiver application must be filled out for the child as well.

How can I schedule a visit?

Visits must be booked at least 24hrs prior to visitation.

 

Visitation Information:

 

Length of visit: You can stay with your loved one for the entire period of the visiting hour.

Number of visits per week:  An inmate can have upto 15 visits per month

Number of visitors per visit: 6.

Can I leave cash or money orders at the visitor desk? Yes.
