Built in 1988 the Milner Ridge Correctional Centre originally housed 300 adult males both in remanded and sentenced provincial custody. It has had numerous expansions and is now a minimum, medium and maximum security facility with a rated capacity of 524 adult males.

How can I schedule a visit?

Visits are by appointment only.  Call between 8:30AM and 4:30PM on weekdays.  Only immediate family member are allowed visits unless otherwise approved by the superintendent.

Length of visit:  60 minutes

Number of visits per week:  1

Number of visitors per visit: 2 adults and 2 children

Can I drop off money to my loved one when I visit?Money (cash) may be left at the Gatehouse or given to the Visiting Officer for deposit into the inmate’s account.
