The Nova Scotia Youth Facility, located in Waterville, opened in 1988. The provincial facility accommodates male and female young persons serving open or secure custody sentences as well as remanded young persons.
Do I need to be on
an Incarcerated persons visitors list?
Yes, Visitors permitted include parents/guardians, siblings, children of the resident, grandparents, aunts or uncles.

Visitation Information:
Length of visit: Varies
Number of visits per week: 1
Number of visitors per visit: Residents may receive up to four (4) visitors at one time
Can I drop off money to my loved one when I visit? Cash, money orders or certified cheques only
Each resident is permitted one visit per weekend on Saturday or Sunday from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
