Toronto South Detention Centre (Toronto South or South Detention Centre) went into operation in 2014.  The South Detention Centre is a combined maximum security detention centre for 1,650 remanded offenders and a medium/maximum correctional facility for males sentenced to less than 2 years.

Visitors MUST call 24 Hrs before visiting Toronto South Detention Centre (Toronto South or South Detention Centre).  Arrive early for your visit.
