Toronto South Detention Centre (TSDC) is a provincial correctional facility located in Toronto, Ontario. The main facility was completed in 2012 and began accepting inmates in January 2014, making it approximately 14 years old in 2026. Toronto South Detention Centre was built to replace the former Toronto Jail, Toronto West Detention Centre, and Mimico Correctional Centre. The facility was designed with 1,650 beds for remanded and sentenced inmates. TSDC primarily houses individuals awaiting trial or sentencing, as well as people serving provincial sentences.
