The Winnipeg Remand Centre (WRC) is a pre-trial detention centre located in downtown Winnipeg, across from the Law Courts Building. It houses people waiting for court decisions on their charges or placement in correctional centres. It can hold approximately 289 minimum, medium and maximum security risk adult males and females.

How can I schedule a visit?

All visits must be booked at least 24hrs prior to visitation call on weekdays from 9AM to 12PM to book a visit.  Must arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Length of visit:  30 minutes

Number of visits per week:  2

Number of visitors per visit: 2 (not including infants)

Can I drop off money to my loved one when I visit?Cash can be used at the Automated Teller in the Visitation area, must know Offender ID Number.
